As residents of Southern Vancouver Island, we live in the most endangered ecosystem in Canada, the Garry Oak Meadow. Over the 150 years of European settlement a number of invasive species have taken over this beautiful yet fragile ecosystem. Invasive plants such as Scotch Broom, English Ivy, Himalayan Blackberry, and Laurel leafed Daphne, have caused considerable harm to the once beautiful wildflower meadows of the Garry Oak ecosystem. Also, Salmon bearing stream banks, as well as sensitive beach fronts, are all areas which need to be handled with care, to ensure the survival of species for generations to come.

We at Edibella offer expert advice and techniques to deal with these types of situations.
